OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, The Avatar of the Age - has repeatedly drawn the attention of all to the fact that the five cardinal principles - Sathya, Dharma, Shanthi, Prema and Ahimsa enshrined in the sacred texts of 'Sanatana Dharma' of our great motherland constitute the foundation of Bharatiya culture and civilization - nay of all religions of the world. These five principles are the Human values and everyone should try and imbibe them and Divines themselves.

SPIRITUAL

  • Glory of Bharat lies in its Vedic Culture - Spirituality to uphold its sanctity and importance and preserving of Vedic Heritage through collection, Circulation and propagation of Vedic literature is an aim.

  • An ounce of 'Practice' is better than tonnes of 'Precept'. Promotion of "Simple living and High thinking" ideals covered in Vedic and Shastric texts leading of a life of contentment, desirelessness and Love is another aim.

  • Dissemination of knowledge contained in the sacred texts - Vedas, Upanishads, Shastras, Agamas, etc., and spread of 'National Spirit' and 'Oneness of Mankind', as revealed by Bhagawan Baba in his Divine Discourses, Writings, Messages and Deeds.

  • Creation of Holy Environment and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to practice 'Sadhana and Contemplation' away from the din and noise of a city, through Prayers, Vedic Hymns, Bhajans, Nagar Sankirtans, Discourses, Havans, etc.,
Service
  • Work os worship, Duty is God. Selfless work providers satisfaction and peace. To enthuse Vanaprashthis to take up voluntary work - seva, befitting their temperament and ability for the betterment of the Ashram and surroundings and become 'Karmayogi'. Occupational therapy provides the joy and satisfaction.

EDUCATIONAL
  • Illiteracy is a curse for everyone - particularly for the weaker sections of society. To provide food, clothing, books, tuition fees etc., to those children who are in dire need of educational facilities (but cannot afford them). As a part, to encourage Vanaprasthis to adopt a child for the purpose and utilise their energy, expertise and resources in the cause of humanity.

  • To shelter the weak and neglected and meet their basic needs like food and clothing. Simultaneously to provide training to them in trades, arts and crafts and bring them up as 'useful citizens of the land'.
